What is a TCG?
A TCG is an online trading card game. Like Pokemon only free, different topics and you are rewarded for playing games.
The original TCG was Senshi Card Mania by Calico. While it did closed it is now reborn as Senshi Card Mania R.
What is the theme of Geekcon?
Geekcon is a TCG that focuses on stuff that can be described as “geek.” From anime to Dungeons and Dragons, if it is
geek it can be a deck here.
Joining?
If you want to join you can either fill out the form or post in the join section of the forum. For joining you get cards
from your starting deck worth a total of 3, 6 random cards worth 1, 2 random cards worth 2 and one random card worth 3.
Note: If you pick a deck worth 2 for your first collecting deck you will get one card from it and an extra random card
worth 1.
Prejoining?
If you prejoin you get cards worth 4 from your starting deck, 10 random cards worth 1, 3 random cards worth 2 and 2
random cards worth 3.
Levels?
Okay, so we aren't the most creative people. Our levels are called Level 1 up to Level 10. Levels are determined by
card worth not count.
Level 1 - 0
Level 2 - 30
Level 3 - 75
Level 4 - 150
Level 5 - 250
Level 6 - 400
Level 7 - 600
Level 8 - 850
Level 9 - 1150
Level 10 - 1500
For leveling up you get 1 choice card worth one and 3 completely random cards (ie they could be any value).
Mastering?
When you master a deck you get a number of choice cards equal to Deck Worth* (Card Count / 10). You always get at least
one choice card. Random cards are Deck Worth * (Card Count / 5).
00 Cards?
00 Cards are not counted for mastering a deck. Basically because you get them as a reward for when you have collected
cards 1-20 of a deck. A 00 card can be traded freely without losing your mastery of the deck. They are worth the same as
any other card in the deck. However you use 00 cards to get 00 Masteries.
00 Masteries?
An 00 Mastery is a reward for getting the 00 card of 2 or more related decks. You don’t need to actually master the deck,
you can trade for a 00 card if someone is willing to give theirs up. Once you receive a 00 Mastery you can’t trade that 00
card anymore. Rewards for 00 Masteries are 1 choice card and 2 random cards for each deck in it. If it includes decks
worth 2 or 3 then the choice card and random cards for those will be worth 2 or 3.
